Clarksville Station

The Best of Radio & Records from the '60s, '70s, '80s & More

Meet the Band!

Hailing from different parts of the country, the members of CLARKSVILLE STATION all found each other in Madison, WI, where the band is currently located.

Joe IaquintoJoe Iaquinto: Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., Joe shares lead vocals and plays bass and guitar with the band. Like his bandmates, Joe started playing live music back in school, doing his first pro gig (which meant getting paid!) at the age of 13, and was off and running. In 1976, Joe and his band got a 10-week house gig at a resort in the fabled Catskill Mountains. Right out of high school, Joe did a road gig with Little Anthony and the Imperials. Two years later, Joe moved to Los Angeles, CA., and spent the next four decades as a professional musician, working with International recording artists and Grammy winners such as, Stephen Bishop, Billy Preston, Wayne Newton, Peter Cetera, Rita Coolidge, The Emotions, members of Chicago, Toto, The Doobie Bros., Elton John, and more. In between the "big gigs," Joe hit the road with some of the state's top bands, and played concert venues with tribute acts to Heart, Chicago, The Monkees, and Bad Company, and summer concerts with STONE SOUL, one of Southern California's best Motown Soul bands. Joe and his family moved to Madison in 2017 and are enjoying a less "crazy" existence. Since moving here, Joe has been fortunate enough to work with local legends John Masino, Mike Turk, and several other wonderful bands and musicians including guest stints with Tracy and Alan's duo, TOP SHELF. He is currently a member of The GROOVE BUSTERS and proud to be a part of CLARKSVILLE STATION. You can find out more about Joe at joebass.squarespace.com

Tracy Jane ComerTracy Jane Comer: Originally from North Carolina, Tracy is one of the group's lead vocalists and plays keyboards, electric and acoustic guitar, and bass (and violin and viola and cello and more!). Tracy began performing back in junior high, when she accompanied the school choir on piano. Since then she has turned her passion for music into a lifelong career that has taken her all over the country and garnered her local and international honors, including 2008 "Instrumentalist of The Year," by the Madison Area Music Awards. Tracy is also a gifted singer/songwriter whose original music, some of which was co-written and produced by local legend Randy Green, has led to her opening shows for international touring acts Willy Porter, Dar Williams, Peter Mulvey, The Wailin' Jennys, Ellis Paul, and many others. Not one to be put in a box, Tracy is a musical chameleon who can sing and play any style of music she desires. Aside from being an essential member of CLARKSVILLE STATION, Tracy stays busy performing with a variety of wonderful bands here in the Madison area including, TOP SHELF and COMMON CHORD and also performs as a soloist.
